In 1919 two ambitious med-aged sisters moved from the mid-west to Lake Arrowhead to build their dream castle. This resulted in the Raven, a twenty-eight room three story English Tavern that played host to the Southland's elite for thirty-four years. Over the past sixty-five years many famous people have frequented this historical Inn. Howard Hughes was a visitor along with the Charles Lindbergh's plus the exciting Hollywood and entertainment communities. Thus, many guest rooms are reminiscent of these hero's and heroines. Today A CHARMING HISTORIC INN at the entrance to Lake Arrowhead.
